Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-06-04
These Terms of Service govern your use of Amberlands. By creating an account, buying Amber, or purchasing any product on the platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. Who we are
The Amberlands platform is operated by MB VBNetwork (legal entity code 307791342), registered office Mokyklos g. 62 K9-31, LT-00303 Palanga. You can reach us by email at [email protected].
2. The agreement and its documents
These Terms, our Privacy Policy, and the in-game rules published on each server's page together form the agreement between you and MB VBNetwork for your use of Amberlands. If these documents conflict, a server's own rules apply first to that server, then these Terms, then the Privacy Policy.
3. Our services
Amberlands operates a platform that hosts private game servers (MU Online, Lineage 2, Ragnarok Online, Counter-Strike 1.6, and other titles we may add). The platform provides a unified account, a shared Amber balance, storefronts, rankings, news, and support across every server. Access to individual game servers is subject to each server's in-game rules, which are published on that server's page.
4. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that takes place under your account. The profile data you provide (name, email) must be accurate.
5. Placing an order and forming a contract
You order a product by selecting it in the store and completing payment. A binding contract between you and us is formed when we confirm your order after receiving payment - we send an order confirmation by email. We then deliver your purchase (Amber, in-game items, or a subscription) to your account or in-game. If we cannot deliver it, we will tell you and refund the amount paid or redeliver it.
6. Payment and pricing
All purchases are denominated in EUR and processed by our payment service provider. Prices shown are the final total you pay at checkout; where VAT applies under Lithuanian law it is included in that price. You will receive an order confirmation by email after payment is captured. We reserve the right to refuse an order if fraud is suspected.
7. Amber
Amber is a prepaid digital balance stored on your account, denominated in our internal unit (not a currency). You may use Amber to buy in-game items and subscriptions across any server that is part of the platform. Amber is non-refundable except where required by law, is not redeemable for cash, and is non-transferable between accounts.
8. Refunds and right of withdrawal
Digital goods delivered immediately (Amber, in-game items, VIP subscriptions) are exempt from the 14-day right of withdrawal under EU Directive 2011/83/EU, Art. 16(m), because performance begins immediately with your explicit consent at checkout and your acknowledgement that you thereby lose the right of withdrawal. However, if: • A delivery fails due to our fault (system error, game-server misconfiguration), or • A server is permanently closed within 30 days of your purchase, we will either redeliver the items on another server or refund the corresponding amount to your payment method or as Amber, at our discretion. To request a refund, contact [email protected] with your order reference.
9. Acceptable use
You must use the service in good faith. Specifically, you must NOT: • Use automation, bots, or third-party software to interact with the game servers in ways that violate the individual server ruleset (each server publishes its own rules - read them). • Exploit software bugs, duplication glitches, or economy-breaking vulnerabilities for your advantage. Report them to us at [email protected] instead. • Buy or sell Amber, accounts, or in-game items outside the service. All Amber and items are non-transferable between accounts. • Share or resell your account credentials. • Harass other players, use hate speech, or post illegal content in chat, guild forums, or support tickets. • Scrape the service, attempt to reverse-engineer it, or probe it for vulnerabilities without prior written permission (reporting a vulnerability in good faith via [email protected] is welcome and will not be treated as a violation).
10. User content and intellectual property
We own the service, including its software, design, brand, and artwork. You keep the rights to any content you submit (guild descriptions, character profiles, support messages); you grant us the right to store, display, and moderate that content only as far as needed to operate the service. We may remove content that breaches these Terms or the law. Using the service grants you no rights in our intellectual property.
11. Our rights and obligations
We may change or improve the service, its features, and the products offered; carry out maintenance that temporarily limits access; or suspend or discontinue an individual server or feature. Where such a change materially reduces something you have already paid for, we will offer you a comparable alternative or refund the unused portion.
12. Quality guarantee
As a consumer, you have the statutory conformity guarantee: the digital content or service you buy from us must match its description and work as reasonably expected. If it does not, you can ask us to bring it into conformity and, where the law allows, receive a price reduction or a refund under EU and Lithuanian consumer law. These rights apply in addition to these Terms and cannot be limited.
13. Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Amberlands is not responsible for player-versus-player losses, in-game item loss caused by legitimate server mechanics (e.g. item-drop-on-death rules), or downtime caused by force majeure (DDoS, hosting provider incidents, authority-mandated outages). To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so - including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, intent or gross negligence, or for your mandatory statutory rights as a consumer, including the conformity guarantees for digital content and services under EU Directive 2019/770 and Lithuanian law.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the service if you breach these Terms, abuse the service, or engage in fraudulent activity. Serious breaches (chargeback fraud, account trading, cheating) may result in a permanent ban and forfeiture of remaining Amber. You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings.
15. No affiliation with game publishers
Amberlands operates independent, community-run private game servers. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to the publishers or rights holders of MU Online, Lineage 2, Ragnarok Online, Counter-Strike, or any other game title referenced on the platform. All game titles, logos, and trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only. Any rights not expressly granted to you remain with those owners.
16. Complaints and dispute resolution
If you have a complaint, contact us first at [email protected] - we will try to resolve it as quickly as possible. If you are a consumer in Lithuania and we cannot resolve it, you may refer it out of court to the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority (Vilniaus g. 25, LT-01402 Vilnius, www.vvtat.lt). This does not limit your right to go directly to court.
17. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, and disputes are settled by the competent courts of Lithuania. If you are a consumer, you keep the mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your country of residence and the right to bring proceedings in its courts.
18. Changes to these terms
We may change these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when published on this page with an updated date; for material changes we will notify you by email in advance. By continuing to use the service after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you may delete your account before that date.
